OVERCHARGE
My Aunt - 73 years old is on a bundle package R190.50 per month and has been for years. Yesterday her phone stopped working and on further investigation MTN says she owes R975.98!!!! When she asked to speak to a manager as this amount is impossible, she was refused. MTN now say the debit order will go off month end for R975.98, no resolution, no investigation, nothing. It is impossible for her to have racked up this bill, she does not know how to surf the internet, is not on facebook or any social media, she only uses it to make and receive calls and send messages. However, MTN say the cost is for surfing the internet. We need a response urgently please!!! We have emailed MTN, sent a query on the website no answer yet. Please assist asap, this is not her bill and on a government pension R975.98 means she won't eat!! I, have on behalf of my aunt, phoned MTN, Facebooked MTN, emailed MTN - no help, no response.
