Overbilling
I cannot begin to express my dissatisfaction and anger at the countless days that I have been inconvenienced by MTN pathetic service.I am quite surprised to receive such a heavy bill for May 2015.I can confirm that MTN definitely has (and always had) a problem with their billing system. They have never been able to resolve the problems and customers have been complaining about this for years.MTN makes the statement \MTN takes the satisfaction of its loyal subcribers very seriously and investigates every complaint on a case-by-case basis"<br> MTN are defnitely not serious about their customers loyalty.<br> I was billed R836 for May 2015.I recently upgrade to the Sony Z3 on a top-up 100.Monthly billing is R499 +105 (upgrade fee) but I must pay R836.Can someone please explain this to me?<br> And if you dail 808 you will wait forever.I went to my local MTN store but no-one can help me.I have emailed customer care but to no avail. Here is my ref no (#***8)<br> Now that the customers needs service everyone is on stike. Can you believe this. Can someone please call me <br> Wayne van Wyk ***"""
Thank you for your post.
We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
Kindly note that we have tried contacting you today without any luck.
According to our records, the subscription fees is R499.00, however the upgrade fee was duplicated and therefore a credit of R105.00 was passed to your MTN account. You were also billed for insurance(R70.16) and a hardware fee(R47.36) which was carried over from Nashua from your previous upgrade and R39.47 for the 150MB recurring bundle loaded.
We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
Regards
Veronica
