Overbilled

It is unfortunate that I have to express my frustration with the pathetic service I have received from MTN in the past 6months. In May 2017 I went to MTN Cape Gate upon establishment that MTN has been overbilling and debiting my account 8 times more than the agreed monthly contract amount to seek clarity and I was informed that a call has been logged and assured that I will get feedback within 2-5 working days, only to find out a month later when the same amount went out that nothing has been done.

I went back and forth to the store and MTN call centers in the interest to resolve the matter and all I received is being sent from pillar to post. And my requested was simple, since MTN acknowledges that they wrongfully debited my account for 6months, all I want is for them to credit my money to my bank but till to date its mission impossible. All I get is new reference numbers now and again, what ****es me off is having to explain the same issue over and over again.

It is utter disgusting that we as customers are spending our hard earned money on service providers like MTN who claim professionalism and customer service excellence but deep down they cant even attend to a issue for 6 months which was supposedly take 5days. The consultants who promise to assist and even make follow ups on status of the matter and never bother to call back are really not deserving to be part of such an organization unless their behavior is encouraged by their organization which in this case I suspect same.

I will be also raising this issue on other platforms to raise awareness to all customers who are still blinded by TV ads painting a "great" picture of the MTN and will only rest once the money is in my bank account.

Dear Kabelo, Kindly explain to me what is "shortest period possible" as I heard that statement for the past 6 months, is it another 6months or 1year this time around? All I need is a commitment from MTN of a date when this matter will be resolved and my money in bank account instead of a diplomatic response.
