Over charging cause I cancelled my contract

My name is Thabiso Motloung, ***,
Im really not pleased with MTN right now. I made an enquiry about excessive Data you charged me after cancelling my contract. ( see my query below). Now to add insult to my query you proceed to debit R3139.22, instead of the R369, I pay monthly in my bank account, this is ridiculous. .. Please pay back my money.

Previous email Dated 20 May 2015
Hey

My name is Thabiso Motloung, number in question ***, Invoice date 07/05/2015.

I'm really not happy with the above mentioned number (***). The past 24 months having this contract, I have been paying at least R369.00 on this contract. Now that i decide to cancel the contract after it has expired, you people want to charge me more than twice the amount. How did this invoice get to R993.55?

I don't accept the R528.92 packet switched data calls.

please explain this to me.

Hello Rufaro,

Thank you for your post.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

Kindly be advised that due to the industrial action that we are facing, there is a backlog of queries. The billing query logged for the data charges to be validated is still pending with our billing department, REQ:***.

Our records show that the amount debited of R3139.22 includes the 2 additional lines that you app**** for.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards,
Ayanda
