Over charging
<p>In April 2015 I took out a contract with MTN for R499 / month on the nr ********** .</p> <p>As from the first month MTN deducted R529 and they did this every month. I visited the customer care centres 5 times and phoned in 6 times but no answer or change to my account.</p>

Kindly note that on the 13 May 2015 MTN increased the subscription amount. MTN has not increased contract subscription prices for over a decade despite increasing operation costs, distribution costs, transport costs, handset price increases, infrastructure costs, failing exchange rates and increase in taxes. The reduction in mobile termination rates, coupled with the increased costs of network investment, has necessitated a review of pricing.
