Over Charges and WHY is the strike our problem?

I currently have 3 contracts with MTN and have been a loyal, well paying subscriber for over 10 years.

I received the my statement for May and tried to phone the call center, no answer...
There is no way I used an additional R1 875.29 of Data on my Data-line. We don't use the Wifi very much and We definitely didn't use it more than during the past months.

Then I received an SMS on 22 June 2015, that I have reached 90% of my credit limit this month. I went online and see that under unbilled invoice there are charges of R1 913.04 for PSD calls (What is this?) . I have not used my Cellphone any more than usual.
I tried calling the call centre - No answer!

Last night I went to MTN Elridge corner on 22 June 2015, they are unable to help me and battle just as much getting hold of \Head Office"due to strikes.

Last night I tried to go onto my data line and my services have been suspended (for what reason?)... I tried phoning the call center: NO ANSWER!

Almost R2000.00 unknown charges per month & suspension of services.

If I do not hear back from MTN by the end of this week I am tempted to have the debit order stopped. I'm sure they will be quick to contact me for money..."""

Hello MJOU1982,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

Your line has been unbarred. PSD is packet switch data which basically the Internet. Kindly be advised as well that the contract pricing was revised and became effective from the 13th of May 2015, applicable to both existing and new contract. MTN reserves the right to review and update contract pricing as per MTN's subscriber contract. All affected subscribers were notified via sms of the changes on the 15th of April 2015.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards
Senzo
