Over Billed

I have had a Wi-Fi router with MTN for the past twenty-four months and my contract end on 11 February 2024. New data was loaded on the sim that has expired without my knowledge on the 12 February 2024 as none of the MTN staff contacted me to make sure if I still wanted the same product or not. I didn't want the same product because it would deplete before the end of the next cycle so I decided to change to something else that I even had to pay R808.73 to get the new Wi-Fi Router before use. I am only upset because I am being double charged on the previous Router that I had and I don't understand why as I am currently not using the device. So, I just wanted to let you know MTN that I have been a good customer to your firm, I even bought my son a mobile device from you via contract to show that I have been a fan of your brand but after this Wi-Fi Router experience I regret choosing you. One thing for sure, I will not pay R1260.14 of which my bill has always been around R756.00 including my son's device just know that if you debit my account with that kind of amount I will reverse it and you will definitely and you will not list me as default payer because I will also take this matter forward as it is not treating customer fairly. I took the root to this platform cause if I call the customer care line, I am taken from pillar to post and one of the agent even asked me if I was transferred to their department or did I dial the number directly. I felt like I am being involved in their office politics because me being put to a wrong department and be told to disclose who put me through, that is none of my business, I just wanted my query to be resolved. So, clearly it shows that your staff is not even happy to help customers without making a big deal of who is wrong or right. If I cannot be helped, may I kindly have the Billing Department direct contact details as I was told that they are the one who is suppose to help me or your complaints department email so that I can report to them about my query and if form them that I am escalating my issue to the Ombusman office as your firm could not help me.
