Outrageous Data Rates - 900MB for not even 15 Minutes
Please explain to me how +/-15 minutes on the DSTV NOW Appcan take up 900MB of Data. That is absolutely ridiculous and beyond outrageous. Have you people gone completely mad with your data rates?
I am sure it was less than 15 minutes. I am just estimating. It is crazy, honestly.
I am overjoyed by the fact that all my contracts are nearing their expiring dates. I cant keep up with your ridiculous data rates. I am sure there is cheaper service providers out there and I will be looking, believe me.

20 Nov 2018, 08:27I would seriously like to advise people to reconsider if you are thinking about going to MTN. Their data rates is beyond outrageous. I have just been called and they cant justify the rates charged to me on Saturday. My app was set to 720P which is approx 1.2GB PER HOUR.
They went in and check my account and it took 815MB for 15 MINUTES.
Be careful people. They are ripping you off and just put up the shoulders. They dont give a ****.
Just to make sure of my facts I went into my settings to check my Data usage and right at the top is Dstv Now @ 815 MB. This was the only time I accessed the DSTV app via my phone data.
Do your research before you go to them.
