Out of contract for 8 months been prepaid but MTN refuse to help as they say I am still on contract

MTN Ref # Good day, I have been on prepaid since last year December…I gave 2 months notice and made my last instalment in December then in May this yea I get a message saying I still owe R300 odd rand for cancellation fee which is not the truth there is no cancellation fee if you gave 2 months notice prior to the contract end termination date which I did. Now the prepaid people say I am still on contract and contact department says I am on prepaid but have been on prepaid since January. Now they say Iloola or something like that needs to be removed from my account before any assistance is given
