Open line contract under the disguise of a TopUp

I upgraded on the 11/04/2015 to a MTNChoice 200 minute contract.
I specifically requested that I do not pay more than my contract subscription of R649 per month, whereafter I was told that I could recharge when my minutes/data bundle has been depleted.
My current usage is now over R1000, and a promotional data bundle was not loaded on my account.
After being on the phone for 25 minutes for Customer Care, I was told that no usage limit has been set.
It was never communicated to me at the time I upgraded that I had to set a usage limit to limit my bill.
I have also lost 3600 loyalty points when I upgraded, which I would like back...
I am not willing to pay more than my subscription iro the month of April, please issue a credit note, load my 1GB data and re-allocate my loyalty points.
Kind regards
