ONE UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

I sent a phone in, under warranty on the 14th of January 2015 - new phone supp**** on the 4th of February 2015. There was a delay in the Repair centre booking in my phone, as a customer, I am not interested in your internal problems. after chasing the Repair Centre, I got told the shop in Benoni, completed the incorrect paperwork, I was told to take the paperwork into the shop have them fill it in, and then e-mail it back to the repair centre. (how is that for customer service), which I refused to do. Once I got the phone back, I took it home, and took it back to the shop the very next day, the volume on the phone is so low I was missing the calls. I asked the shop to give me a different make of phone, which they refused to do. They ended up opening two other Z3 phones, still not happy, volume is not what my first Z3 was. Brought it to work, and a collogue who has a Z10, had a look at the phone, my settings are exactly the same as hers, but alot softer than her phone, she even comment that this phone volume is not right, my first one was alot higher, that it could be heard from her desk, but now not possible. I want a total new make / model, MTN not willing to assis

Hello Madlassie,

Thank you for raising your concerns with MTN.

We do understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

HVRC (Repair center) is guided by the Manufacturer's repair and assessment guidelines, in accordance with their Standards and mandate as well as the availability of parts for the devices.

Unfortunately the handset cannot be exchanged for a different make and model they have to replace it with the make an model that the upgrade or new contract was processed with.

Kind Regards,
Ebbedene
