One missed debit order and they disable your account

I've been with MTN for years, I missed a payment at the end of last month and they decided to block my account. I funded my bank account in the hope that the second debit order would sort this out but it never happened. After receiving an sms this morning ****h) I paid MTN the money I owed via EFT. I received another sms and my account was blocked.

How can one failed debit order, after paying on time for years, give MTN reason to block my account after 10 days? My service has been reinstated but it might take up to 24hrs to reflect. This is unacceptable as I'm sitting without a phone for today, not MTN's problem if I can't do my work. Come and threaten me with "kindly pay immediately to avoid full service suspension and legal action", what happened to customer service? Be careful I don't bring some legal action your way. Not happy

This does not make sense: "Kindly be advised that the account will not be suspended for 1 payment returned unpaid. The system will allow +- 4 days before the account will be suspended." As far a I know I don't have a credit limit as I buy extra data weekly. I bought data on the same day my account was suspended. Please try again as your explanations don't add up.
