Once bitten twice shy

A Cell contract was taken **********ly twice in my name.i don't know much about business but I think it's part of planning to do a risk assessment. I'm also Wonder if they do vetting during recruitment or train staff on risk. I was never called by MTN for missing first installment after the ********** contract was concluded. They waited until the amount is around R14000.00 to hand the account to debt collection. If the debt collector was able reach me why did they fail to reach me? Now I have to make affidavit again and my credit rating is still affected.
