ONCE AGAIN MTN DOES WHAT IT KNOWS BEST ( INCOMPETENCE)

A month ago l travelled abroad and on my return my phone was blocked because allegedly i was on roaming and had accumulated approx. R1000.00 in 7 days while l was away. of which in the 7 days l didn’t not make or receive any phone calls. I only received sms. When l called MTN customer service they reconnected my phone and told me that an investigation was opened and that l was to call after a few days to get my itemised billing. Days went on and l didn’t get any feedback when l called again l was told that the matter was not logged in and l had to re-narrate the whole situation and got back to the same issue that l will get the itemised billing in a few days’ time.

Nothing came to my email and on the 25th of May l called again to confirm and same thing happened till today nothing has been communicated with me. Quite funny that MTN does the investigation and not an independent company. Today l got a sms from my bank saying that MTN has taken R 1400.00 from my account.

My question is who authorised them to do this and on what grounds would they do such without communicating with me.

I am so not amused with this
