Number terminated instead of being converted to pay-as-you-go.

After struggling for almost 3 months to get my number to be converted from contract to pay-as-you-go, it finally got done by the 4th consultant that attended to this query. So I thought.... I was told it will take 24 to 48 hrs for the conversion to be active. It has been a week and my line still doesn't work. No calls are coming through, people trying to get hold of me are getting a message that the number doesn't exist. It seems I haven't been converted but my number has been terminated. MTN consultants truly take incompetence to another level. 4 consultants and I'm no close to resolution instead I'm worse off, without a line.
