Number swap
<p>I am having a contract with MTN and I want to swap the number with my husband. He is having a prepaid number with MTN. </p> <p>I went to MTN store in Eastgate, they tell me they are not allowed to do so and I have to speak to call centre. I called call centre, they tell me only the store has the access to do so.</p> <p>Who exactly can help?</p> <p>I did speak to their manager at store, the answer is "NO"</p> <p>Can someone from MTN give me a proper answer?</p>

Please be advised that the number swap is done at the store when you no longer wish to use your existing contract number and you want to be allocated with a new mobile number, the existing contract number will then be disconnected from the network and MTN will allocate a new mobile number for you. The prepaid number cannot be swapped with an existing contract number, it can only be added to the contract as an additional line.
