Number porting
I have been trying to port number from Vodacom to MTN. I have been to a MTN store 3 times and contacted the customer call center numerous times. <br> I have moved from Vodacom contract over to prepaid and need to port to MTN so that I can use the Afrihost services on offer through MTN.<br> However no one has been able to assist with my number porting and it has been almost a week since I have tried to port the number. <br> Number in question for porting ***<br> in store service no one has been able to assist and 173 (call center always passes the buck.<br> Poor service and no professional help found. <br>

The port was submitted as though you are still on prepaid with Vodacom and they declined it saying that the classification of your account does not match. Please contact Vodacom and make sure that your number reflects as prepaid on their side and then request to have the port resubmitted by MTN.
Rest assured it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.
