Number deactivated without concern.

How can you give my number to some else without consulting with me,? My number that I have been using for close to 10 years was deactivated without any notice! I use this number to authenticate a lot of my accounts from banking apps, email, business registration etc. And for it to just be deactivated nd the number to be given to someone else is just straight up sabotage! I understand you have a policy that one must recharge to keep the number active which is understandable, but to just deactivate with no notice is really uncalled for. Considering all the ****s and *****ulent dealings of modern day it's really disappointing that a big firm like MTN can just pull of something like this. Now all my sensitive details are linked to that number. Their call centre is nothing short of useless because of a chat bot that keeps you in a loop of irrelevant options that don't speak to your needs with no real agent to speak to. A heads-up that a number will be deactivated would do MTN.This is really disappointing!
