Not what I signed up for

I sent MTN Customer Care an email on the 22/06/2015, with regards to the incorrect amount being billed (see below). To date I have not received a response, and find this unacceptable. MTN's customer service is shocking and nevermind the amount of time you sit on hold trying to get through... RIDICULOUS!!

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have just received my June 2015 Account (inv. E***) and I am being billed R30.00 incl. VAT more on my contract amount. I signed up at the iStore in Centurion with a deal as per the picture below. I am being billed R669.00 incl. VAT instead of R639.00 incl. VAT and excluding insurance which is R140.00 incl. VAT.
Hello mishengel,

Thank you for your post

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as result of the breakdown in the service delivery in one of our touch points.

Kindly note that the invoice is pro rata and then a month in advance. The R32.75 is for pro rated insurance. The handset is covered immediately when it is handed over to u. If anything happens from that moment, the insurance will cover the damages. The normal invoice will have R122.81 for insurance, R254.39 for the contract and R332.46 for the promo fees. These amounts are not vat inclusive.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards
Lungi
