Not What I requested!!!

Please escalate this to a manager as I am not dealing with a consultant.

One Friday, 29 July 2016, I contacted MTN to give my 30 days cancellation notice for my contract on my data contract (083 ********** ). The consultant asked me if I want to switch it to Pay-as-you-go, which takes 7 days. I declined and stated that the data should only go off end of August as I gave 30 days notice. He confirmed that it has been loaded as such and that will need to phone again on the 29th of August to confirm that the contract will be cancelled.

On Tuesday, 02 August, my data went off. When I contacted MTN the consultant informed me that the contract has been switched to pay as you go, this is didn’t request. I told her my story and she said that all she could do was the email retentions, not what I requested. I asked to be contacted by a senior person at MTN to address this. To date, nothing has been done. Due to incompetence from MTN I am without data. This is in breach of the contract I have with MTN.

I expect feedback on this matter, and my line to be reconnected asap! For more than 3 years I have been a loyal contract customer, and this is the thanks I get. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
