NOT UPDATING RECORDS

I have a cell phone contract with MTN for the mere reason to increase my credit score on ITC. MTN have last updated the records on the 30/09/2019 meaning for 2 months they didn't update their records which means nothing happened to increase my score. as far my understanding goes companies need to update records on the 1st of each month. Compu-scan shows 30/09/2019 last updated? then what is the use in having a cell phone contract then? when I phone MTN a person holds on for ever to speak to the so called MTN service CHAMPIONS? you joking right? 3 days I am trying to get hold of someone even phoned the head office and still also not very helpful .
