NOT SUCH A BOZZA NETWORK, NEVER BRIGHTENS UP MY DAY!!!!!!!!!!
It has almost been 4 months and my billing amount is still incorrect.
After replies from Alice Van Der Merwe, acknowledging the error on 22 February 2018, still no changes has been made.
MTN has been debiting R300.00 more than agreed, forcing me to stop debit orders and effect payment manually on a monthly basis.
Today I received an sms stating that an amount of R300.86 is due within two days, and if not received my services will be suspended.
When I call the centre, I am told to return to point of sale to rectify the error, however, point of sale being Kgosi Isaac has been on leave since January. What a lucky man.
A little history about my first encounter with Mr Kgosi Isaac.
It was time for an upgrade and the said gentleman contacted me to proceed. I accepted and we went through different packages which were currently on special. One is particular was 2 devices at R339.00 p/m. I told him to give me a few days and I will get back to him with my final decision.
About 2 or 3 thereafter, I received a contract for the said deal. I immediately contacted him and told him that I did not give the go ahead. He acknowledged this and stated that it was an error on his side because he approved all pending contracts for approval, and that he will rectify it immediately.
I told him that I would like to take the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 at R149.00 p/m instead. He proceeded to change the details and the phone was delivered to me.
In December 2017, the first debit order went off, I noticed the amount is more than R149.00 and assumed that it could be connection fees.
However, I noticed that the same amount was then debited in January 2018.
I then called the call centre and spoke to a certain Mamotse, whom acknowledged the billing error, as no discount given. She advised that same would be escalated.
I then called again and spoke to a certain Kubera, whom explained that the Promo Service Fee (which means the value of the device) is incorrect, as a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 could never amount to same. She then also escalated same.
Then today, I spoke to a certain Thandeka, I asked to speak to Kgosi and she advised that he is not in, and then asked to speak to Sharika his TL. She tried to transfer me, however Sharika was unavailable at the time and sent an e-mail requesting her to call me back.
I look forward to a phone call from the MTN staff, not just a reply on hellopeter, because clearly you do not actually respond. Your replies on hellopeter is just an eye blind.
