Not delivering on service
<p>After waiting for 3 months for feedback on the "in warranty repair" of my wife's Blackberry 9720 , the technical call centre reported back that it is beyond repair and an amount of R350 must be paid in order for the faulty phone to be returned. </p> <p>The phone was in immaculate condition, NO water damage, with only technical malfunctions including the LCD screen, switching off and not charging. </p> <p> </p> <p>NOT happy with the result, especially because no REAL reason could be given for WHY it is regarded as "beyond repair"</p> <p> </p> <p>My blackberry was replaced in a short time period by vodacom for similar problems. </p>
Good Day Mitch Wiggins,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kindly note that warranty of a phone becomes void if physical damage or traces of liquid are found on it. A phone becomes Beyond Economic Repair when traces of liquid are found on it.
Rest assured that it is not our intention to displease you and we look forward to continue improving on our service delivery to you.
Kind Regards,
