NOT ANY BETTER, JUST WORSE
We as an family lost my father in late October. Since thane we have tried to cancel the contract at the N1 City branch and had the most useless assistance from the staff members in store. My mother requested a cancelation round about 3 times and even spoke to the manager to request assistance. The death certificate and ID got submitted and the cancellations team now want a executors letter for estate not yet wound up, make that make sense. She keeps getting airtime and data after cancelling the dual contract. It seems like nobody knows what's going on and keep sending her in circles. Is this the way you do business by forcing people to hold on to contracts after the account holder passed away to make extra money of them. This is the reason I ported my number away from MTN years ago. Nobody willing to take ownership to sort a customer out. I will guarantee that all the remaining family members of ours associated with MTN will seek our mobile providers to serve our needs. You allow red tape, lack of knowledge and restrictions on your end to hold customers hostage and force them to stay in contract.
