Nonsense service provider

Is been two weeks now have been calling mtn to find out why my number was not credited on the provision date all they keep giving me is references but when I follow up again they say they don't know what happened as they can't see anything on the system meanwhile I have to pay for services I did not receive at the end if the month how is that fair
