Non-existing MTN Service

Dear Hellopeter Cell no *** refers. This was a 36 month contract, which expired in November 2023 and was subsequently, automatically.converted to a month-to-month contract from 14 November 2023 by MTN. The following is the procedure we followed with MTN to cancel the contract..

“On 14 November 2023 I telephonically cancelled the above mentioned contract - (listen to your recorded voice messages as you always indicated. ) The person I spoke to ask me if I wanted to keep the above mentioned number and I informed him that MTM can remove the number. That very same day (about an hour later) I went personally to your MTM shop in Oxford Street, Durbanville to confirm the telephonic cancellation. A white lady assisted me and confirmed that the contract has been cancelled See below copy of print out….

On 12th January 2024 I visited a very rude, unpleasant and unprofessional lady at your MTM store, 6th Avenue Shopping Centre, Port Elizabeth. She informed me that the above mentioned contract is still valid and has not been cancelled.

I demand that your office immediately cancel my contract, back dated from 14 November 2023 - as I informed you telephonically and in person.

Please acknowledge receipt of this e mail Your immediate response will be appreciated

This letter was also sent to MTN Customer Care on 16 January 2024. An automatic reply, with reference no 77f2439c-0d75-4d12-b9e3-***1a584, was received from MTN per e-mail on 16 January 2024. On 22 January 2024 I enquired again via e-mail, with no reply from MTN to date and they continue deducting the increased debit order.

Can Hellopeter please assist in resolving this matter and the reimbur*****t of monies deducted?

Should you require any further information I can be contacted on *** Regards IPG Ferreira
