NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Worst customer service I have ever received. My MTN 2GB weekly data bundle prematurely expired. I lodged a query via MTN's facebook page to get this resolved, already on the 8th of August. To date, I have received no feedback relating to the so called investigation, which is still currently ongoing. And no one at MTN is prepared to tell me the timeframe it will take for this investigation to be resolved. In fact, they are so disorganised, I have been issued with two reference numbers, namely, 1) - *** (which apparently was resolved according to an SMS MTN sent - yet nothing was resolved) and 2) SMC/***. This is the worst service I have ever received - its as if MTN has no intention of resolving the matter and do not care about keeping their customers in the loop and happy. I have afforded MTN the 14 business days required by ICASA to resolve a query - its time to lodge a complaint!
Thank you for your post.
We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience that you experienced and we would like to sincerely apologise that you received such poor service.
As per our telephonic conversation, kindly be advised that as per business rule, the validity period of the weekly bundle is seven days from the date of bundle activation.
Please note that a once off credit of 1,178MB that had expired has been loaded into your line as a goodwill gesture, please check your balance.
