Non-Existent Customer Service

I can't wait for my contract to end. MTN’s customer service in non-existent. 1st their system kept changing my limit from 0 to unlimited whenever I requested for a new service, which meant they could now charge me out of bundle for data. R1600 for less than 2 gigs, no one wants to take responsibility. If that wasn’t enough the phone I got from them was in repairs for 3 months while I was paying for the device(which was still In warranty). So in other words, I paid them for the device for 3 months that I wasn’t using and now the problem is starting again. Now they say it’s out of warranty. If someone sees me using MTN after the end of my current contract, please shoot me.

That's were me and MTN differ. At 1st I took your word for it that I might have changed my limit without realizing but after than incident whenever I requested for a new service I would get an sums saying that my limit has been changed. Even the call center person I had a chat with suggested that the system unjusts the limit itself. This was for my Dec 2015 and Feb 2016. I didn't even know those short codes and even if I did I'm sure there must be some prompting choices which I'm sure I would have gone as far without noticing I'm changing my limit. As far as I'm concerned MTN has issues and they are passing the buck. I have talked to the shop and billing and they can't prove step by step that I followed promps. I'm over it but I will be moving my business to another provider as soon as my contract ends
