Non disclosure of migration fees

I was due for my contract update end of February 2021, I did an upgrade of R389 for a phone...now when I check the amount I have to pay end of March it's R1591.78 . I contacted MTN to find out why the balance is so much., they say it's migration fees,which they never advised on when I did an upgrade. I'm very disappointed.
