Non-Delivery from Walk in Centre on Damaged iPhone
On Monday 16th Feb, 2.30pm, I booked my iPhone 6 into the Midrand Walk In centre for a simple damage report required by my Insurance company. The advisor, Quinton, assured me this would take less then an hour to receive.

The next morning (17th Feb) I called the MTN national service line, as it is apparently impossible to contact the responsible repair centre directly, to enquire on where my report was. They recognised that It had been generated, and would send a follow up to the repair centre to send the email.

It is now the 18th of February, and Ive just gotten off the phone again with the service line. The consultant essentially advised that no lead time can be provided on when I will receive this report, that it is still being assessed and I should be patient.

I hesitate to remind MTN that this is a short physical assessment, which is completed by most service providers in less than 10 minutes. The fact that there is no way to maintain a direct line of communication with the person assessing and responsible for submitting me with my report is frankly illogical.
