No wonder Mtn is rated Junk

I have been a loyal high paying mtn client up until the end of 2016 when I resolved énough of bad service is enough'despite my many years of using and paying for their services. After deciding to close my account whilst it was in credit, I went into the MTN store into the Century City Mall in September 2016, spoke to a gentlemen who informed me that Í had to physically come in 1 month before my contract expired to request closure of my account'. I duly went in on the 19th October and was asssited by a Çhad'who requested I sign a form as I was migrating to a new newtwork and for termination of my contract. I have copy of the form which I requested which he referenced 'Req. ********** 'in his own handwriting. Chad of MTN assured me that was all that was needed in addition to the letter of termination I supp**** and my Drivers Licence. At the end of November, I received an account and when I went back to see Chad, he simply said íts not his fault'speak to the helpline. On the 1st of December a 'Terence'in the store tried to assist and again referred me to the the call centre. I spoke to Liziweat the Mtn call centre who advised that my 'migration was logged on 26th October but may have went through late on their side 'hence the 'charge'. That was no fault of my own as I was told by MTN to physically come into store 1 month before my contract expired which I duly did. Why did Chad log it "1 week later after me having to follow up? Now, with no further correspondence from MTN regarding my complaint: I received a notice by way of sms today that is handed to their attorney for summons. Is it no wonder I ended my 18 year relationship with MTN in the first place and they just confirmed my good decision. If I do not hear back from MTN writing off the claimed amount due to their negligence in resolving this within 7 days, I will pay up the balance I should not be paying and I will be back on Hellopeter and write to everyone I know about my experience and hopefully they will all end their MTN relationships as well. I will duly lay a complaint with the Ombudsman, the Honourable Minister of Communications, the Public Protector and the media. This is only the beginning. The ball is in your court Mtn!
