No update to credit bureau

I had an account with MTN which was handed over to attorneys for collection. I have paid the account over 5 months ago but still it is reflecting on my profile with the credit bureau and its affecting my score. Every time I phone MTN, I get sent from pillar to post. please can this be corrected.
