NO STOCK ON ADVERTISED PRODUCTS

<p> </p> <p>I am due for an upgrade on one of my numbers and downloaded the November 2016 issue of Y'ello Trader to see the deals that are available. The deal on the last page caught my attention and I proceeded to call the MTN Cresta store as well as the retention call centre at MTN and was told that the Sony Xperia XZ was not in stock. I called the MTN store yesterday in Melrose Arch and was again told there was no stock. Today I called MTN Cresta again and was told that they have ordered stock but MTN has no stock.</p> <p> </p> <p>Why would you place adverts and deals (this particular deal bundled a smart watch with the phone) when there is no stock available?</p> <p>Is MTN hoping to lure people in with the promise of a good deal and then hoping to sell them something lesser as there is no stock on the deal?</p> <p>Surely your supply chain is robust enough to ensure that stock will be available to meet market demand? (Obviously it is not).</p> <p> </p> <p>Needless to say this situation irritates me!! It is not the first time that I have had to complain about MTN and their "deals".</p> <p> </p> <p>I would appreciate a response from MTN with proposed remedial action.</p>
