No stock of laptops

Almost two months ago I app**** for a laptop contract (HP 255 G5 for R199pm) at one of the MTN branches and was told that they were currently out of stock of laptops and would receive stock in the first week of January. I received sms confirmation that my application was sucessful and was told to wait for the stock to arrive in the first week of January. Its now February and I am still getting the run around from MTN. The level of unprofessionalism is appalling. I dont understand how they can advertise two months in a row for goods which they have no stock of. I feel like this is a sly advertising scheme to lure customers into their store. My life is being put on hold waiting for a laptop which I should have received a long time ago. I had a contract with Cell C which I cancelled to move over to MTN. I know feel like I made a mistake doing that since I never had such a problem with Cell C
