No Service but received Threats.

I had HomeLte with MTN on a two year contract. 20mb uncapped. I never received the speed I was paying for so I decided not renew my contract and rather get local fibre internet. My contract expired on the 2nd of Nov 2023. Like a good customer I started calling MTN from the 29th of September but could only get through to them on the 3rd of October 2023. Only to be told that I should call again on the 2nd of November to cancel my contract. Then I had to tel the MTN champion that their policy is to give 30days notice and that he should make a note on the system that I gave notice. He assured me that he did it and I should call again on the 2nd Nov to confirm the cancellation. When I called again on the 2nd of Nov no note was made on the system and my cancellation was not done. The other champion than advise me to sent an email to the retentions department explaining that I did call previously which I did on the 2nd of Nov. Thinking this was sorted. On the 17th of Nov I received an invoice for the Home Lte again. Then I had to call them again. Then there was still no note of all my previous calls to cancel my contract and they dated the 17th as the day of notice and my contract will only be cancelled on the 18th of Dec. Now they are charging me an extra two months for the Home LTE that I haven’t been using for two months!!

Unfortunately I also have my cell phone contract with MTN. So I only paid my cell phone contract and not the Home LtE because the mistake was on MTN’s side. Now they have suspended my cell phone services. I can’t even send a please call me. So if I have an emergency there is no way to call for help. And I did pay my cell phone contact the problem is with the home lte.

And now they are threatening to impact my credit score if I do not pay the LTE. Which is ridiculous because it is their mistake!!

No one there will help you! They were suppose to sort it out and call me back. It has been a week no response.
