No service, accounts complaint,Breach of contract

While abroad a friend cancelled roaming for me but MTN instead unfairly suspended my phone. MTN eventually claimed that my account was unpaid, but I am on debit order and payments all went through my bank account and on time. It took numerous visits to MTN shops, e-mails and calls ( list of 2 x A-4 pages with reference no, date and times) during June and July to have my service switched back on (successful after 6 weeks) and to sort out my account queries MTN only responded with electronic mail to tell me to contact the Customer service, but they hardly ever answered and when they did, I got a reference no from them but they never did anything about my complaints I was charged for all that time. I got a statement from a MTN shop early July as I haven't received statements since May, but was grossly overcharged (for calls never made, little data used as I am aware of the consequence) then deducted R4200.00 from my bank account What happened to my credits of calls, data and sms before I got suspended? Today the Manager in Vanderbijlpark took my letter to his office, after half an hour, I still had to leave without any luck of sorting my account out and refund

Hello Mathilda la Gran,

Thank you for your post,

We apologise for the delayed response and for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The charges were for roamed calls, please note that when you are roaming you are billed according to the rates of the network you are roaming on.

Thank you
