No service

So I have been trying to sort out a problem with a number that I have on a MTN contract. I spoke to different consultants and no one can assist me. I never used the number before as I at that moment were using another contract number. I had this contract since 2019 but only want to use it now.

Problem 1 - when i dial the customer care number 135 i get put through to the emergency centre that is 122. Problem 2 - i can't use whatsapp on the number (it is stating that that this account can't use whatsapp, which means that the number was blocked. I wanted to find out if they can give me another number that will actually be useable the consultant i spoke to said she can't help me and that I should phone the contract division. I have not yet been able to get through to that division.
