No Service

DEAR MR OR MS CEO, MTN

On Monday I purchased a cellphone at a Pep Stores Branch. With it I received a simcard that was RICA'd on my name with my ID.

I went home and then proceeded in loading all my apps and info after activation and charging.

I barely loaded whatsapp when I was confronted by a very angry woman who accused me of using her cellphone number and therefore, getting her in trouble with her boyfriend. As he assumed she has 2 accounts!!!!!

Apart from getting disgusting service from you. And when you try to call Customer Care. You get a recording telling you that, the centre is closed????!!!!????? *** AM I PAYING FOR!!!!!! I have been a loyal MTN Customer since my very 1st cellphone. But this was the last straw!!!!!! I want answers and I want my money back!!!!!! No longer going to accept this ********. I'm looking into other service providers. And will not leave this not seen to I am planning on seeing my lawyer regarding this on Monday. I have had note that enough. I'm lucky if I've gt 3 hrs full signal a day this whilst I spend between R 1000 to R1500 pm on data. Not even mentioning airtime!!!!!

I want answers!!!
Sincerely ****ed off client!

Hello Sandy75,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.

We have tried contacting you earlier without any luck.

Kindly note that if a number is not in use it gets recycle and does not belong to the previous owner. Kindly note that this is a standard business process. You do have the option of requesting a number swap however we cannot confirm that you will not receive a recycled number.

We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.

Regards
Veronica

Best regards,
