No response to request for cancellation amount
On Tuesday 24 March I called the call center to ask for the cancellation amount I would need to pay to get myself out of my MTN contract. I was told that one cannot contact the cancellations department, you make a request and they call you back after a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 24 hours. I am still waiting for this call. When I followed up on Thursday I was told that the entire cancellations department has been in a meeting for 2 days. I called again on Friday and I was told that they have a backlog and will get back to me. I still have not heard anything. I do find it strange that this backlog coincides with pay day week when a large number of unhappy customers now have the means to free themselves of MTN. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I am now even more resolved to leave MTN. Please can someone get back to me.
