No response from call centre or email

I Contacted my local MTN branch In George on the 10th of March 2015, to explain the Death of my Father and what I wished to do with his cell phone numbers. I was told that they could not do anything in store and that I had to contact the 808 call centre number. I then did this ,after being passed around from person to person and having the phone put down on me twice, I eventually got through to a lady who informed me that the legal department only worked until 1pm everyday.

She suggested that I email my request along with a copy of my Dads ID and Death certificate to a given email address. I did this on the 11th of March 2015. I got a automated response with the reference number for my query and was informed I would have a response within a maximum of 48 hours, on the 16th of March 2015 I still had no reply, I sent a follow up email on this day and still on the19 March 2015 have not received a reply.

The reference number of this case as given to me in an automated email response is: ***.

My entire Family is currently with MTN, but due to this terrible service will be moving to Vodacom when our current contracts expire.

This is shocking customer care MTN
