No response, empty promises, over charging clients
A dispute was lodged on 9 September after my complaint on this site (REQ:***) but so far no response. <br> <br> MTN stated that the out of bundle rate is R0.99 per MB. In August I was charged R223.84 for 1,258,953,728 bytes. In September when I used 2,570,231,808 bytes which is just over double, I was charged R830.18 which is more than triple! There is no clarity on where the data usage is coming from and how charges are app****. I upgraded specifically to put a usage limit which was also not honoured. <br> <br> My husband had a similar issue with Vodacom who rectified the situation within 3 days and credited him! My business is definitely not going to MTN again. Worst service and provider I've had the misfortune to experience after being a customer for almost 10 years.

We've perused your account and see that the total amount of data used on the invoice dated the 20th of August 2015 was 1200.63MB ***KB / 1024 / 1024 = 1200.63MB). Please see the calculation for the data charges below and you'll see that we've actually undercharged you considerably:
August invoice - Total used 1200.63MB - 500MB monthly allocation = 700.63MB additional usage x R0.99 (Out of Bundle rate) = R693.62 including VAT.
September invoice - Total used 2451.16MB - 500MB monthly allocation = 1951.16MB additional usage x R0.99 (Out of Bundle rate) = R1931.64 including VAT.
Any issues pertaining to the request of a usage limit needs to be taken up directly with the stores management team as the request was not done at store level.
Based on the calculations above we've undercharged you on both invoices and there will be no credits due.
