No respect for customer privacy
After spending a month last year trying to stop MTN sending me daily spam SMSs, they have started again. This is despite me being registered on the national opt out database, sending "STOP" and "OPT OUT" to numerous messages, dialing every kind of obscure USSD codes, and even given written and verbal warnings.
MTN are acting in contradiction to section 45 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002, and their lack of effort to correct it is simply because they don't care, and they can get away with it. This shows they just see their customers as cattle.
