NO resolution
I paid money in to MTN as I realise I was behind (R1000) then get a thank you, a couple of days later I then get a notice to pay R647 or have my account suspended, I pay R1000 again, tried calling the customer 'service\ line in order to find out what is happening as my phone has been suspended only for that to be cut off on every occasion. This is totally unacceptable. I have now got myself a Vodacom line due to this inept service

Thank you for your payments of R1000.00 on the 29 June an R400.00 on 3 July.
According to our records, on the 11 June the amount outstanding on your account was R1 313.39 which was for invoices billed in May and June. Your account is currently up to date.
Since your payment type is cash, your payments are due 21 days from date of invoice (normally by the1st of the month) to avoid suspension.
According to our records, your line has been reinstated.
We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
