No reply, no help
I have been trying to cancel my contract with MTN, since the strike I can get no response from them. I have tried calling, I have tried emailing, I have contacted head office and been put on hold for over 25 minutes with no reply. They are charging me for two contracts that I emailed to cancel over a month ago and I get no response from them.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience and frustration caused by the apparent irresponsiveness from our side.
In order for us to resolve your issue we will have to refer you to the Cancellation department who will review your current Subscriber agreement with MTN and advise on the necessary steps. We would advise that you check your agreement carefully as there are some limitations to cancelling of any contracts.
The common practice for cancellation would firstly be that the subscriber notifies MTN in writing with a 30 day (1 x calendar months) 's due notice.
You might however still incur certain costs i.e. \Early termination fees (ET) which could include:
