No repairs to a iphone 6 after 2 and a half months

I sent my iPhone in for repairs on 9 February 2016 at the lambton branch. After 2 weeks when i enquired, they said that find my phone was on and that i should disconnect and let them know. I disconnected the same day and let them know. after another 2 weeks, they gave me the contact repair no and the centre said that i must pay R 330.00 so that they can release and repair. It is now almost 3 months at the repair centre and the service is terrible. The cell phone i am sure has lost much value and i am not sure whether i will receive it back yet i pay for the service every month. The service is shameful and i have not got one call from MTN during this period and i have called them over 10 times now. It is now 14 April and i have not got a response. I was not told about find my phone and that it should be switched off when i sent the phone in, but had to pay the release fee. The phone was not 6 months old when it was send in and was under full warrantee. Something should be done and this poor service exposed as the phones cost a lot of money.

I got a message from Kevin on Thursday 14 April to say that my iPhone was at the Lambton MTN. This is after i went there on Wednesday 13 April and they said that the phone did not arrive. I went to the Lambton branch to collect my phone on Friday 15 April 2016 and the person at the MTN Lambton, George, told me that the phone was there from last week. When I indicated that I came to fetch it as Kevin from MTN indicated that it was available, they indicated that the phone was not fixed and returned to the Lambton branch, just when I though things could not get any worse, he indicated that i can take it and drive to Midrand, Allendale and submit the phone to the MTN repair centre personally. As at today 24 April , the phone is now over 74 days in repairs and counting without any solution. You must ask if something like this is even possible. I have been with MTN for over eighteen years and i have never received such a service in all those years, and stuck to them although there were opportunities to switch service providers over the years. To date the cell phone sim has not been used so I have spent R499 per month for a service that is not used. Shameful.
