NO PROPER PROCESS FOR PHONES THAT NEED REPAIRS
Good day,
I purchased an A30S in November and suddenly this phone has no visibility. It has audio but you cannot see a thing on this phone. Strange enough this happened after a video call, the phone had been working perfectly fine the entire time. The worst experience has been getting assistance from both the call centre and the branches. I went through 10 consultants if not more. I lost count. My husband then took the phone to the branch, (Elridge and East rand Mall both in Boksburg). Both MTN outlets refused to take the phone and advised that they no longer accept any phones, therefore the customer has to take the phone to the repairers themselves which I found shocking. He drove to a repairer referred by both MTN Stores, by the name SSS repairers also based in Boksburg. Now I'm subjected to a quotation of +-2K, This phone is less than 6 month and where is the warranty period ? From all these telephone calls and going from pillar to post, no one could verify my warranty period or process to follow regarding getting this phone repaired. The service is shocking and now my biggest stress is that my phone is with a repairer that has not asked for any of my MTN details but just took the phone which was quite alarming. Ntombi and Dino and another consultant which I've forgotten their name were from the branches/outlets I mentioned earlier on
I refuse to accept the quote I've been given and would appreciate feedback asap from yourselves as to what needs to be done next with my phone.
Why am I now subjected to a payment of R350 when I was advised by MTN to take my phone to the specified repair centre.
If this phone is not repaired and I need to collect it ...why are there fees applicable
In the first place I have not received a call from you advising the above
Had I not checked on hello peter I still wouldn't know the outcome of my phone
This kind of service is shocking
Please can you arrange for the repair centre to release my phone
I refuse to pay the 350 because I took my phone which I understood was under warranty
I still fail to understand how it got in contact with liquid because I know very well that there was no contact with any form of liquid.
