No one seems to work in Rentention

I am still utterly disappointed by MTN's horrible customer service. I would like to cancel my contract, but they make it totally impossible to do so.

I've emailed, I've phoned and was put on hold, I've emailed again, I've phoned and was put on hold again, I tried their FB page and was told to phone, I've phoned and was put on hold again, I've emailed yet again, I've been put on hold again!!!!!

No one from Rententions answers the phone, yet it is the only way to cancel.

Can someone please assist the Retentions department to address my complaint as well as all the others here on HelloPeter??? There is no point in responding that you've fw the query to the relevant department.

Good day,
Unfortunately this email address bounces back to external people, I've already tried it 3 times this past week already. People fom customer care have also fw my complaints to them via email ... nothing!
When I phoned again yesterday the consultant told me that I should be patient and wait at least an hour on hold before Retentions will answer - this is totally unacceptable and very very poor customer service. I phoned again to lay a formal complaint, only to be put through to retentions again - on hold again. So I phoned yet again and at least that consultant had some understanding for my situation and emailed retention to call me back... still nothing.
Your 2nd paragraph makes absolutely no sense. I am not cancelling due to coverage!
