NO one knows where is my phone

My phone was handed in at Keywest (Krugersdorp) for repairs in June (SECOND REPAIRS IN A FEW WEEKS BECAUSE THE SAME PROBLEM RE-OCCURED). I heard nothing from anybody at MTN till I phoned the repair centre on Friday. Then I was told it was an OBF (Out of Box Failure) and I would get a new phone from Keywest as they signed to acknowledge receipt of the damaged phone being returned to them more than a week previously. They never contacted me, so I went there on Friday afternoon in the hope of getting my new phone.

BUT the shop is closed for renovations with NO INDICATION of where a customer can go or who can be contacted for help.

After a long discussion with Kabelo (repair centre supervisor when I phoned again) he tried to tell me I have to wait until one day that Keywest opens again (he did not know when) as there is nothing more he can do. Or I can phone Head Office and try to find the right person to speak to, because he did not have a name to give to me

I left a message for his manager and within a few minutes he phoned me back to tell me the phone was at Westgate Shop B. I phoned Westgate B to confirm before driving all the way there, but the lady answering the phone said she had no idea of any phone from Keywest at their branch.

Where do I now get my new phone that I did not have for 6 weeks earlier in the year (and lost all my data) and that I have now again did not have for more than a month (probably data loss again!!)

CAN someone at MNT take some pride in their jobs and find out where my phone is? I find it totally unacceptable that I have to keep paying for a phone that I have not had for MONTHS!!!!!

A simply phone call to tell me when and where I can collect my new phone will be appreciated.

Estie Meyer-Diers

083 **********
