No network coverage during blackouts

I had been complaining for the past few years that during loadshedding and power outages, we in the area are unable to pick up any signals as a result this is a great danger and threat to one's life. Everytime I call the mtn Network Coverage, I receive the same answer, query is escalated. This is going on for the past 3 to 4 years. This is unacceptable. All they need to do is fit a bigger battery and keep it under lock and key. No one seems to be taking any interest in resolving this query
