No MTN signal

We have no MTN reception for the past week I pay two subscriptions and receive no service. I would like to cancel, but I am sure they will say I am contract bound. How can you pay for a service and don't receive anything. We stay on a farm and if there are any emergencies we cannot contact anyone via a MTN phone call. I am really disappointed with this
